Republican Open Alpine Skiing Competition of Almaty Held in Oi-Qaragai
On January 18 and 19, 2025, the Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resort hosted exciting children's skiing competition. Young athletes representing the leading mountain resorts of Kazakhstan such as Shymbulak, Ak Bulak, and Oi-Qaragai, took part in the competition. The honor of our Resort was defended by the trainees of our SKI-TEAM Sports Club.
Children in the age categories of 2009 and 2010, 2011 and 2012, 2013 and 2014, 2015 and 2016, 2017 and 2018 participated.
The young skiers competed in two disciplines:
- January 18 – Slalom,
- January 19 – Giant Slalom followed by the award ceremony
The competition was a real sports festival uniting young athletes, their coaches, and families.
