The winter season in "Oi-Qaragai" resort is open. What to expect in the upcoming year?
On the 7th of December, the official opening of a winter season of 2024/2025 was held in "Oi-Qaragai", one of the first among Almaty resorts. This day marked a great start for the season: the Resort was attended by more than 3000 people. The guests rode the freshly prepared tracks, enjoyed the beautiful snow-covered views, took photos and actively participated in our programme.
This year, the main focus was on the national traditions of the Kazakh people. Everything was filled with Kazakh national flavour, from costumed animators to photo areas and decorations. The musical setting was executed in electronic-ethnic style, guests were greeted by tall and statuesque batyrs, and the host conducted a variety of activities and awarded prizes to our winners.
"We have the highest expectations from the new season. We are launching new slopes, new cable car routes. This season it will definitely be happening. There will be a ten-seat gondola. It will be a six-section cable car. This is approximately 6 kilometres of new slopes. The slopes will be of a completely different quality than here. These will be big, wide, rolling slopes, with very beautiful nature around,"-said Dmitry Matyas, the CEO of "Oi-Qaragai".
