Eco-walking tour with an application for a record of Kazakhstan!
The all-season Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resort became a place to organize the largest eco-walking tour in the mountains. The main mission is to involve people in caring for nature and an active lifestyle. The event gathered about 100 volunteers. The campaign was timed to coincide with the birthday of the Resort, which turned 13.
The age of the participants was different – from 15 to 65 years old. The length of the route was 15 kilometers. All participants felt perfectly safe, since the participants were accompanied during the entire trip by certified guides, security specialists and other Oi-Qaragai employees.
The route passed through the picturesque views of the Ile-Alatau National Park. The participants went through Krasny Yar, the Valley of Bridges, Boar Lake, Bukreyev’s Peak, Alpine Meadows and the Wish Park locations.
Everyone was very impressed by the beauty of the nature of Kazakhstan, and most importantly, all participants collected about 30 kilograms of garbage. Such a small number suggests that mountain tourism disciplines people.
This walking tour has been submitted to the Book of Records of Kazakhstan to consider the possibility of registration.
